For Hap Edition 20: In a Rhythmic Fashion, Carla Arocha and Stéphane Schraenen have taken one photograph with each disposable camera on the frame corresponding to the edition number. The camera, and the single image, become the property of the collector who may use the image as they wish. Additional instructions are included.

Arocha and Schraenen have been collaborating since 2004. Their sculptures, 2D works, and installations divide, distort, and reveal spaces. The effect is to disorient viewers while allowing them to participate in the act of reconstructing the space in a new, personal way.

Arocha received her MFA from the University of Illinois-Chicago, and her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Schraenen studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp, Belgium). They live and work in Antwerp.
