In this series of ink drawing/collage works, Lisa Rybovich Crallé’s South Florida roots shine with colors reminiscent of tropical foliage, coral reefs, and Caribbean culture.
Crallé’s breezy collages, sculptures, and drawings have been exhibited in the United States and abroad. She has held numerous residencies including at Arteles (Finland), ART342 (Colorado), and Ox-Bow. She received the 2014 Alternative Exposure Award, and the 2011 Robert Arneson Award.
Crallé’s has an MFA in Studio Art from the University of California-Davis, and a BFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She lives and works in the Bay Area.
