Dunn's panels are designed to be arranged in multiples, whether within each color series, or across color series.
Kyle Austin Dunn paints objects that evoke our fabricated, manmade environment – plastic dinnerware, surgical instruments, candy, toys – by focusing on surfaces and isolated geometric shapes.
Dunn has exhibited at Minan Gallery in L.A. and Pro Arts Gallery in Oakland, as well as at Headlands Center for the Arts, and the Museum of Art-Deland (Florida). He was also featured in Arcademi, Daily Serving, and SF Art Enthusiast.
Dunn earned an MFA from the University of California-Davis, and a BFA from the University of Florida. He lives and works in Oakland.
