Damien Gilley’s Decoder Ring pendant reflects his affection for immaterial architecture and metaphysical geometry.
Gilley has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the 2010 Portland Biennial, Wieden+Kennedy, Suyama Space (Seattle), Tetem Kunstruimte (Netherlands), and the EAST/WEST Project (Berlin). The recipient of numerous grants, Gilley has been recognized by Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts, Oregon Arts Commission, and The Ford Family Foundation.
Gilley has an MFA in Contemporary Art Practice from Portland State University, and a BFA in New Media from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. He lives and works in Portland, OR.
