Lee Isbara’s practice of repetition and accumulation is reviewed in numerous publications among them Textile Fibre Forum, American Quilter, and Surface Design. Her work has been shown in traveling invitational exhibitions including Hands of Korea (Korea, Europe, U.S.), Innovators and Legends (U.S.), and Wrapping Tradition (San Francisco Museum of Craft and Folk Art).
Lee Isbara studied Fibers at Colorado State University-Fort Collins (MFA), and Ewha Womans University in Seoul (MFA/BFA). She is the Dean of Academic Affairs at OCAC, and lives and works in Portland.
