Each of the 36 paintings in Nathanel Thayer Moss’ Incision series is a study in shifting geometric forms and trompe l’oeil. They are meticulously made by painting on and incising hand-made panels.
Multimedia artist and musician Moss is influenced by futurist design, outer space architecture, video game landscapes, and electronic music. His black-and-white pieces were featured in 2012’s New American Paintings: Pacific Coast Issue, and he completed a Worksound International residency in 2010.
